Mr. Chan completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) at the City University of Hong Kong with outstanding results (Dean’s List), demonstrating his exceptional aptitude for the law.
After joining our Firm as a trainee in 2021, Mr. Chan has honed his commercial skills and gained hands-on experience handling high-stakes transactions, including setting up joint ventures, start-up fundraising, incubation, and venture capital.
Mr. Chan embodies a true spirit of innovation and progress, stretching beyond conventional legal practices to explore and thrive in the nascent industry of Web3, Metaverse, and FinTech. Since joining our Firm, he has forged close relationships with industry leaders, including a trailblazing Hong-Kong-based start-up with a proven track record of excellence in blockchain solutions. With patented technologies in blockchain consensus and encryption mechanisms, this award-winning start-up has created a comprehensive platform for seamless business engagement and deal closing, receiving recognition and funding through the esteemed Hong Kong Science Park acceleration programme. Mr. Chan, with our Firm’s support, was a part of the success of this innovative venture.
Through deep connections of our Firm in the entrepreneurial community, Mr. Chan has actively engaged in cutting-edge blockchain initiatives, such as blockchain-based electronic signature platforms, NFT marketplaces, and copyright e-registration systems. In addition, his role has been crucial in driving our Firm’s strategic partnership with the leading players towards success.
Mr. Chan is committed to leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience in FinTech to facilitate the progress and growth of our client’s business. He has demonstrated this by completing various accredited courses focusing on FinTech fundamentals (Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, and Data Analytics).
